Audiobooks

We produce, record and distribute audiobooks for the biggest publishing houses. Our team deal with every aspect of the production – estimating the cost of the audiobook, casting and booking the perfect voice for your project, checking the quality of the recordings and working with all the major distribution platforms. We have produced a variety of audiobooks, from children’s tales to thrillers and science books.

Atmospheric Thrillers

Thriller fans expect their audiobooks to create that immersive experience for them. In this genre, suspenseful storytelling and captivating voices can create truly immersive moods. The best audiobooks in the thriller genre are those that can keep listeners on the edge of their seats, heart racing as they try to unravel the mystery. We cast narrators who can take the listener on this journey and produce each title with that suspense in mind.

The Chill of Nordic Noir

For fans of dark Nordic noir stories, the genre’s distinctive storytelling is one of its biggest draws. With its cold, uninviting settings and hard-hitting, straightforward language, Nordic noir creates an immersive mood that is both captivating and unnerving. And with some of the best narration in crime fiction, Nordic noir stories are impossible to forget. In our production process, we place a lot of care on infusing their audio adaptations with that special Nordic mood.

Original music and sound design

Beyond character development and dubbing, some of our projects include original scoring and SFX, creating unique film reality in one consistent package. We offer a complete sound design solution for any film, series or animation. This means that we handle the entire process from concept to predub mix to a perfectly mastered, immersive M&E track for your production.

Sound design

Our sound designers have years of experience in transforming and blending audio to create the perfect soundtrack for your production. All creative projects benefit from stunning sound and we’re here to help you get the best out of your production. We can spot everyday sounds that the listener expects to hear or blend in tones and other musical elements to create something beautiful and truly unique.

Sound effects

We can be bring your film to life, providing delicate sound effects that enhance a gentle drama moment, or creating a full-blown battle sequence with canon-fire to hi-tech laser weaponry. When correctly used, sound effects like the closing of a wooden door, or the biggest explosion can transform the emotional impact of a film. With our huge proprietary sound FX library and our creative team we can produce an M&E track to enhance your production and ensure its dramatic and emotional impact.

Music composition

We have built a network of dozens of great composers, experienced in working with creative development teams, producing the perfect track for your project. If you’re not ready for an original soundtrack, we can also carry out a music search for you, and propose ready compositions from our extensive library. And, as another alternative, we can also help you choose the right track from other online music libraries.

Dubbing and original voicing

If you’re looking to create the baseline language for your new film release, our production teams experienced in original voicing will be working on your project. Under the guidance of the specialist dubbing director, we will cast strategically, contribute to your character development and establish the character standards that other language editions may benchmark against in the future.

As you plan your local language adaptations, we will create alternative language versions for your film. Our facilities make it possible for us to create these versions consecutively or in parallel, depending on your release schedule and preference.

Pre-syncing for animations

When we work on original voicing for animations, we are often asked to create a pre-syncing track to support the animator’s work. We have an efficient process for this and can include it as an affordable option that brings immense value to the animating process.

Multilingual voice talent

The characters for your new film release will be cast from our extensive selection of voices. We work with a wide range of voice artists and in casting we put forward actors with specific experience in film dubbing.

As a studio with international presence, we support multilingual projects with native voice talent in:

  • English
  • German
  • French
  • Spanish
  • Polish
  • Italian
  • and others

If your film requires specific accents like Queen’s English, American English, cockney or Schwäbisch, our production teams narrow their focus to select the suitable voice talent for you. This also goes for foreign accent combinations, e.g. English with Eastern European tones or an American speaking French, which in certain cases improves the quality of your characters’ adaptation.

Voice continuity

We understand that audiences get to know the characters and expect them to be consistent throughout the series. We can offer voice actor continuity if your projects require it so the viewers recognise the characters they got used to in previous episodes or parts of the series.

Promotional support

Many of the voice actors we work with are also open to supporting your promotional activities. Going beyond the standard teasers and trailers, our production teams can arrange for the actors’ social media appearances, participation in podcasts etc.
